Perform general labour duties including shoveling, sweeping, raking, moving materials, trench cleanup, site preparation, loading and unloading tools, materials, and equipment, and supporting daily construction activities.

Follow all OHSA, Book 7, and Sierra Construction HSE policies by using required PPE, remaining aware of excavation, utility, equipment, and traffic hazards, reporting unsafe conditions, and participating in safety briefings, site orientations, and toolbox talks.

Safely use and maintain basic hand tools and labour-level equipment, including shovels, rakes, brooms, wheelbarrows, hoses, and small pumps, ensuring all tools are cleaned and properly stored after use.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas by removing debris and waste, setting up basic safety barriers, signage, traffic control devices, and preparing work zones for field crews.

Support equipment operators, pipe crews, road crews, and other civil construction teams by following instructions, maintaining safe working distances, staging materials, and assisting with general field operations.

Communicate effectively and professionally with Forepersons, Superintendents, crew members, and field leadership while following directions accurately and asking questions when clarification is needed.

Demonstrate a positive, cooperative, and respectful attitude while working collaboratively with team members and assisting other crews or work areas as directed.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures while performing additional construction, labour, and field operation duties assigned by the Foreperson, Superintendent, or leadership as required.
