Heavy Civil

Sierra Construction’s heavy civil division has the equipment, trained operators and expertise to complete a wide array of projects including subdivision servicing, building sitework packages, municipal water systems, sewer and watermain, roads, golf courses, retention ponds, erosion control, earthmoving and demolition.

With a large compliment of excavators, dozers, tractor backhoes, loaders, compactors and road graders, Sierra has the equipment to perform and deliver projects within limited timelines and schedules. Sierra employs its’ own full time mechanics to regularly maintain and repair its’ equipment for the upmost in reliability and operating efficiency.

All the Sierra heavy civil division employees are fully trained in all aspects of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and carry out all work with a strong attention to Environmental concerns including spills reporting and clean up kits, monitoring and measurement, emergency preparedness and response, waste management including diversion of waste from landfills and fully documented corrective and preventative action.
